Bird LA Day at Ballona!

Two Events: Breakfast with the Birds (8:00-10:30am) and Sunset Nature Hike (5:30-7:30pm)
Breakfast with the Birds: Join us for a special Beginner Birding workshop at Ballona Saltwater Marsh! Learn to how to identify common birds in the Ballona Wetlands and Los Angeles. Snacks and coffee provided during workshop followed by a bird walk through the wetlands and sand dunes. Binoculars will be provided. Sandy trails with hills, 1.5+ mile hike. Recommended for ages 12+ and Adults. Located at the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve. Parking behind Gordon's Market/Alkali Water at 303 Culver Blvd. Playa del Rey 90293.
Sunset Nature Hike: Join us for a special hike at the Ballona Freshwater Marsh with LMU Fellow Lisa Fimiani! Binoculars Provided. Recommended for Ages 12+ and Adults. This is a 1.5 mile round-trip hike on an uneven woodchip trail with no bathroom on-site. Parking along south side of Jefferson Blvd. before the Lincoln Blvd. intersection. Meet at the purple welcome sign with the Heron on it!
